The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine allowed domestic pharmaceutical manufacturer “Farmak” to buy a Polish pharmaceutical company KWW Kotkowski Wierzbicki W?grzyn sp.j.
“PJSC “Farmak” (Kiev) received the permission for indirect [through the company “Farmak Invest Limited” (Nicosia, Cyprus)] acquisition of shares in the authorized capital of the company “KWW Kotkowski Wierzbicki W?grzyn sp.j.”, which provides excess of 50% of the votes in the supreme governing body of the company”, – reported in AMC.
The corresponding decree of January 25, 2016 published on the site of the office.
In addition, the Antimonopoly Committee has granted permission to the company “Farmak” and to individuals – citizens of Poland for concerted actions in the form of obligations to refrain from competition under Section 8 of the share purchase agreement in the authorized capital of the company KWW Kotkowski Wierzbicki W?grzyn sp.j. (Warsaw, Poland), for a period of five years.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. KWW Kotkowski Wierzbicki W?grzyn sp.j. was registered in September 2015 and operates on trade, particularly in medicines and baby food, writes the Hubs magazine.
“Farmak” is a pharmaceutical company, operating since 1925. The company specializes in drugs manufacture.
One of the modern trends is the development is the production of biotechnological products. The portfolio of “Farmak” drugs there are more than 200 types of medicines; every year an average of 15 new drugs are being developed.
