Kyiv intends to build the airfield for unmanned aerial vehicles in five years. This was stated by the head of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Drone Owners Taras Troiak, said in the message from the National League of Transport Business on the Facebook.
“We have the Quadroport project that we want to implement in Kyiv. It will be the first airport for drones, where you can test any type of UAV. We are planing to build it by 2025, ” – Troiak said.
According to him, the drone market is actively developing. Therefore, by the end of this year it will reach about 500 million hryvnias, and in 2021 more than a billion hryvnias are expected.
“We look at the development and understand that it is necessary,”- the head of the Federation summed up.
