Due to the elimination of corruption patterns in the energy sector, the State Treasury has saved 140 billion UAH. On this figure notified the head of the government of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman in an interview to the national news agency Ukrinform.
According to the Prime Minister the compensations for Naftohaz and LMKP Teplokommunenergo were hundreds of billions UAH, which, in the end, had been merely covered corruption “feeders” and the fact that such action is terrible.
Earlier, the prime minister called on Ukrainian citizens to reduce gas consumption in the residential areas at least three times less, and also announced the government’s intention to increase the expenses for energy efficiency increase.
