Tesla has agreed with a number of banks to cooperate in the sale of shares in the company totaling up to $ 5 billion, according to the US corporation.
“We have entered into a share distribution agreement … under which we may from time to time offer and sell our ordinary shares with a total offer price of up to $ 5 billion,” the statement said.
The agreement was signed with a number of banks as agents including named Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, SG Americas Securities, LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and BNP Paribas Securities Corp.
As a result of trading on Monday, Tesla shares rose from 12.6% to $ 498.32. At the previous auction, these securities rose by 3.3% to $ 514.96.
