Google has updated its application store policy: the corporation makes it mandatory to use its payment system for digital purchases on the Google Play. The new rules will take effect in a year, on September 30, 2021.
The update of the usage policy means that in a year application developers will not be able to receive payments from users directly, by credit cards, or through third-party payment systems. This means that all Google partners will have to pay a commission of 30% of each user payment on Google Play. As a result, Google has introduced the same rules for the application developers as Apple.
