Currently, there are almost 2 million entrepreneurs in Ukraine, and each of them pays an average of 13 thousand hryvnias a year.
Thereby, in 2019, the turnover of the PIF`s economy amounted to 1 million dollars.
“Over the past eight years, revenue from private individuals to the budget have increased by 24 times. In the last two years alone, the amount of revenues has increased by 10 billion hryvnias, “- said in a statement.
In 2019, entrepreneurs paid almost 25 billion hryvnias, in 2018 this amount was 19.8 billion hryvnias, in 2017 – 15.4 billion, ” – said in a statement.
The number of PIFs increase by an average of 7,000 per month: about 20,000 open and about 13,000 to close.
Currently, 1,903,725 PIFs are registered in Ukraine.
It is also reported that over the past five years, there has been a trend of increasing the number of women in business. In 2016 Ukraine had 43.7% of female as the entrepreneurs. Already in 2018, this figure increased to 45% of sole proprietors.
