Intel has received licenses from US regulators to continue supplying certain products to Huawei Technologies. The list of products is not specified.
Due to the significant deterioration of relations between the United States and China, Washington is putting pressure on the governments around the world to oust Huawei from the market. The US government claims that the Chinese company is affiliated with the Chinese government, therefore will be engaged in espionage in his interests and transfer to him confidential data.
On September 15, new US Department of Commerce restrictions came into the effect, in this regard, the supply of components for Huawei was stopped by a number of companies, including TSMC, Samsung Display and LG Display, so their products were developed using software or technology from American companies.
This week China Securities Journal reported that Intel had received permission from the US government to supply products to Huawei. Now these data have been confirmed by Intel itself.
