Founder of media corporation RIA Media Corp. Oleksandr Chovhan singled out from his eponymous Foundation impressive sum of money in the development of IT sphere in Ukraine. The funds were invested in Vinnitsa IT – Academy in exchange for a share in the amount of 61% in the structure of the institution.
According to Tetiana Avramenko, representative of the Fund, this investment is the first in education.
The Academy provides training of programmers and web designers for over 5 – years. Currently, the institution has trained more than 170 professionals, almost all of whom are employed in the IT-sphere. Main part of the investment will go to the development of new skills, such as manual and automated testing. Preparation of system administrators and web hosting support will be included in these areas.
The proportion of investments will be directed also to expand the representation of institutions in the areas of Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr and Ternopil.
