In Ukraine, for seven months of this year, vehicle production collapsed by 40% compared to the same period in 2019 – up 2122 units. This is stated in the message of the association Ukravtoprom.
Bus production in Ukraine in January-July 2020 decreased by 31% compared to the same period in 2019 and amounted to 311 units. In July Ukrainian plants produced 236 units of motor vehicles, 62% less than in July last year.
It is noted that, as a year earlier, in this segment of the domestic automotive industry operated only one plant – Eurocar, where in July in the mode of large-assembly assembly was assembled 172 Skoda cars.
At the same time, the production of buses increased by 11% to 60 units. In July, buses were produced by Cherkasy Bus, Chasovoyarsky Plant and ZAZ. The segment of commercial vehicles decreased by 84% to 4 units (all manufactured at the Cherkasy bus plant).
The association reminded that AvtoKrAZ stopped disclosing information about its production in August 2016.
