At its session held on Wednesday, July 14, the Verkhovna Rada adopted by 303 votes the law 3508-d, concerning the restructuring of debts for gas and its transportation services to heat and power companies.
The document also regulates the debts of regional gas and regional gas sales, provides for the restructuring of debts of water utilities.
According to the law, the debt will be regulated by mutual settlements with the state budget, restructuring of the outstanding debt on the terms specified by law, write-off of fines, penalties and financial sanctions that will accrue on the debt, subject to repayment of the debt.
The document postpones the settlement date from July 1, 2016 to June 1, 2021.
The law extended the deadline for debt restructuring.
The same conditions are provided for the settlement of fines / penalties imposed on heat and water supply and sewerage companies.
