The victory of the candidate of republicans at presidential elections in the United States of America became a big surprise for the world community. Despite the fact that most the analytical bureaus holding authority on the USA relied on democrats, Donald Trump could collect 290 votes of delegates, therefore, became the forty-fifth President of America. What to wait for the newly elected leader of one of the most influential countries of the world: what position will take Trump and what decisions he will take in the near future? It is probable that the answer to this question at the moment is one of the most anticipated.
Most of the worldwide political elite representatives have already managed to react to the new person of the American policy. Someone expressed the congratulations, others preferred tolerant silence. But, anyway, each country looks at the new President now, estimating own benefits and risks.
Russia
The President of the Russian Federation was among the first who had congratulated Donald Trump on a victory. In the text of the telegram V. Putin wished success to the newly made President and expressed the intentions to find a method to put the end to diplomatic crisis that arose between the USA and Russia. From the point of view of economic prospects, obviously, it is about a removal of sanctions and stabilisation of the market relations between the countries.
EU countries
Comments of representatives of EU political numbers quarters concerning Donald Trump’s victory at presidential elections are very reserved and neutral that, most likely, is an indicator of internal intensity, than indifferences to events in the USA. First of all, members of the European Union concerned of the international agreement destiny about the free trade area which Canada and the USA had signed the day before and which Europe accepted so difficult . Will slogans of republicans about reducing amounts of international trade and support of the national producer affect operating conditions of the countries within Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership? Federica Mogherini is the head of European diplomacy in her speech on-camera said that political priorities of the new U.S. President can take away America far from the European values and to affect the international relations in general. Nevertheless, she hopes for judiciousness of the newly made leader of the American policy.
Countries of the Middle East
As for the countries of the Middle East,positions have divided. On the one hand, such states as Egypt and Turkey with a celebration have apprehended news about the republican’s victory, hoping for a chance to reconsider the relations between the countries and to get support in the decision the internal political conflicts. In particular, for the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi such turn of events is an opportunity to involve America in the fight against the social democratic movement which authorities recognise as the terrorist. On the other hand, representatives of Saudi Arabia have rather chilly reacted to Trump’s victory, being afraid of him “the Iranian interest”.
China
After Donald Trump’s victory, the financial market of China endured this shock: the national currency rate immediately dropped by 0,2%. Let’s remind that following the results of a financial year, the People’s Republic of China is the main investor of the USA: in 10 months of the 2016 year countries have concluded 97 bargains. Total investment of the Chinese entrepreneurs in the American economy has constituted 13,5 billion dollars. The line item of republicans can become a serious obstacle in the way of further business cooperation of the countries.
