Apple has announced that it will hold a presentation of new products next week – the third since the beginning of 2020.
According to the company’s website, the event will be broadcast from the head office in California on Tuesday, November 10. The company announces the event with the words “One More Thing”. This phrase, as noted by the specialized publication Verge, it has repeatedly used to represent significant developments. The last time the iPhone X was introduced under this slogan was in 2017.
According to the publication, the presentation will be dedicated to the conversion of Macs to Apple’s own silicon chips. From 2005 until now, the company has used Intel processors, while the iPhone and iPad ran on ARM chips. According to Verge, the first computer in Apple’s lineup to switch to ARM chips is expected to be the MacBook. The company announced plans to switch to its own processors last summer.
For the company, this will be the fourth event since the beginning of the year and the third dedicated to the presentation of new devices. So, in September, Apple introduced a new watch and tablet, in October – a new line of smartphones. In June, the company’s traditional developer conference was held and the new iOS was presented.
In 2019, the company held only three events – two presentations of new products in the spring and autumn and a June conference for developers.
