KWS-Ukraine company begins a construction of a modern complex for seed conditioning in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
“Philosophy of the KWS business is “in the region for the region”. That is why it is in principle for us the cultivation of corn seeds in the region of its realization”, – reported in the company.
New capacity in the southwestern part of the country will expand the existing capacity, will increase the benefits for existing and future partners in the cultivation of high-quality seeds, and become an integral part of the delivery of high-quality seeds.
“The idea of ??building a new plant for the conditioning of seeds in Ukraine appeared long time ago. But it was a German balanced approach, taking into account all the “pros” and “cons”, site selection and negotiation with urban communities have taken so much time. We are very grateful to the Mayor Michael Simashkevich for he welcomed us in this magical city as well as for his help and support “, – says the CEO of the KWS-Ukraine, Alexander Fedorov.
Plant with the power of 6 th. tons of seeds per year, is expected to put into use in September-October this year. The plant is designed on the principle of modular construction and the size of land will increase the capacity if it’s necessary.
“The plant in Kamianets-Podilskyi will be equipped with ultra-modern facilities that meet European standards for the treatment of seeds and environmental protection. The plant will employ 30 permanent workers and 50 are planned to be attracted in the season”, – said the head of the production department of corn seeds and oilseeds of the KWS-Ukraine, Aleksandr Prus.
