Health Minister Maxim Stepanov and British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons discussed the possible production of a coronavirus vaccine at Ukrainian facilities. The Ministry of Health is in constant contact with AstraZeneca.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Health on Facebook.
Vaccine production may be launched in the near future.
“We are also considering including Ukrainian facilities in the production of this vaccine,” Stepanov said. The Minister expects that Ukraine will be one of the first to receive the vaccine.
