Low-cost airline Wizz Air will restart its flight from Kiev to Stockholm on December 16.
The company has been operating the flight since 2010, but then canceled. Another low-cost carrier, Ryanair, has decided to close the route in 2019.
Now Wizz Air will fly to Sweden twice a week – on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline has chosen Skavst Airport, which is a base for low-cost airlines. It offers low prices for aircraft maintenance, but is located 100 km from Stockholm. Therefore, passengers have to incur additional costs to get to the city – for example, a bus ticket from Skavst to Stockholm costs about 20 euros, while a ticket from Kiev to Stockholm will cost from 25 euros one way.
Thus, the new flight will resume direct flights between Ukraine and Sweden – now there are no direct flights between the countries.
