Lev Partskhaladze: “Business should feel the support of the state”

26.12.2016 News

On December, 23 this year it was a private press conference with the representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine. The meeting was attended by: Lev Partskhaladze (Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing), Oleksiy Honcharuk (head office of effective regulation – BRDO) and Olena Shuliak (Sector Manager of Construction at the effective regulation office).

During the dialogue with journalists speakers have told about the prospects of the construction business in Ukraine in 2017 year, the legislative initiatives of the Ministry and other plans, which, in turn, should affect the investment climate warming in the country and contribute to the elimination of corruption component in the framework of the real estate market.

According to Lev Partskhaladze, the next year, the ministry intends to undertake a large-scale project aimed at the analysis and improvement of existing legislation in the field of Construction and Housing. In particular, he said: “We intend to start step by step our work with representatives of the construction business. At the present time, about 3 thousand legal acts regulate this industry, but only a small part of them really works. The rest of the tools of regulation – are working against the businessman. Business should feel the support of the state. “

In turn, the head of the BRDO Olexiy Honcharuk said: “Most of the legal acts, which currently ensure the functioning of the construction market in Ukraine are outdated and are not effective. Thus, the state only simulates the regulation of the industry. Together with representatives of the office of effective regulation BRDO we intend to establish a constructive dialogue with business, and on this basis to develop a multipurpose legislative mechanism that would be beneficial for both the state and national producers as well. “

The project is scheduled for 2017 th year. Although, speakers have honestly admitted that, due to its global scale, it will be hard to realize it within one year.
