Group DF officially registered in 27 countries of the EU trademark “Ukraine Tomorrow”.
Group DF, that is controlled by businessman Dmitry Firtash, announced the end of the official registration in the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) of trademarks for goods and services “Ukraine Tomorrow” (TM), “Ukraine Morgen” and “Ukraine Tomorrow”, around which was the dispute with the Minister of Information Policy Yuri Stec.
“After receiving the certificate of registration of TM, Group DF confirmed its exclusive rights to the brand in 8 classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services. Registration is valid until 2025 and extends the territory of 27 countries – members of the EU and Ukraine”, – stated in environment of the Group DF.
The company notes that used the phrase “Ukraine Tomorrow” at public events in 2014, and after that decided to apply for the registration of the brand.
As reported earlier in 2015, Yuri Stets announced the creation of the broadcasted channel Ukraine Tomorrow. In August, the Minister of Information Policy informed about the difficulties of the channel creation concerning its official name.
OHIM is an agency of the European Union, which provides registration and legal protection of trademarks and industrial designs in the territory of EU Member States.
After a series of successful international forums, it was decided to apply for the registration of the brand ‘’Ukraine tomorrow’’.
Thus, Group DF intends to continue to use the brand Ukraine Tomorrow in various international forums, round tables and other public events that promote awareness of Ukraine and improve the country’s investment attractiveness.
