The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has disclosed the company in Rivne region, which was trying to assign means of “Agrarian Fund”, PJSC, said the SSU press-center.
According to the report, “Agrarian Fund”, PJSC has concluded the exchange transaction with a private company for the supply of 16 thousand tonnes of wheat worth over 67 million UAH. An advance payment in the amount of more than 43.6 million UAH was transferred to the account of the enterprise, according to the terms of the contract.
The private enterprise delivered a grain only for 6 million UAH within an agreement specified period, and the remaining 37 million UAH of state funds were defalcated.
Investigators of the SSU opened a criminal proceeding under Part. 5, Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Operational investigative actions to identify and bring to justice all those involved in the embezzlement of “Agrarian Fund”, PJSC continues
“Agrarian Fund”, PJSC was established on April 22, 2013 as a structure founded to invest in agriculture.
Before that, the “Agrarian Fund” was the budget organization carrying out non-profit activities.
The “Agrarian Fund” has two subsidiary enterprises: “Agrofond-zerno” and Agrofinfond . Agrofond-zerno is aimed at the production of flour milling and groats products, wholesale grain and animal feeds; warehousing; the cultivation of grains and oilseeds, providing the mediation services in trade of agricultural raw materials, live animals . “Agrofinfond” was established as a subsidiary company of “Agrarian Fund”, PJSC on February 13, 2014 to extend the scope of agricultural services. Activities of “Agrofinfond” are aimed at fund management, the provision of other financial services, financial leasing, other types of lending.
