On Wednesday, August 18, Ukrspetsexport signed a framework contract with the Turkish THK Teknik A.Ş. to establish a repair base for Mi-17 helicopters in Turkey.
According to Ukroboronprom, the document was signed during the international exhibition of the defense industry IDEF-2021.
The contract provides for the repair of equipment of Turkish customers and the execution of orders for third countries.
It will be recalled that Ukraine will supply engines for a new modification of the Turkish ATAK-2 attack helicopter.
Deliveries will be completed by 2025, and the first two engines will be delivered in September 2022.
