Concern Khlibprom invests 560 thousand UAH in an energy saving project. This information is stated in a message on the website of the company.
In 2016 Khlibprom plans to upgrade the gas boiler on Lviv bakery № 1. The plant plans to install energy-saving equipment, which will reduce the consumption of gas in the boiler room for 30%, at the same time its efficiency will increase.
“We will optimize the process of heat-supply, change the topology of the work of the boiler for space heating and hot water supply for production and administrative needs. The new equipment has a high rate of efficiency – 94%, which will contribute to saving and rational using of energy resources, “- said Yuri Hor, the Chief Operating Officer of Khlibprom.
The report states that the investment in the project is about 560 thousand UAH, and the payback period is one year. According to Horn, the company is developing a project on the integration of energy in each of the activities of all eight production units.
Concern Khlibprom, PJSC is a leading company in the production of bread, it was founded in 2003 with headquarters in Lviv. It is a part of Universal Investment Group holding company. Today in the structure of the company work more than a dozen processing plants, providing storage and processing of grain, the production of bakery and confectionery products and semi-finished bread.
According to its technical program, concern invests in high-tech equipment from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France. It is the first company in the grain industry, that has received a loan from the World Bank’s division in Ukraine – the International Finance Corporation. Also Khlibprom participates in the UKEEP program and is a potential consumer of international financial resources for implementation of energy saving technologies.
