The construction of the Baykar drone manufacturing plant in Ukraine will continue despite Russian attacks, Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar said in an interview with Ukrinform.
On the night of August 29, Russian forces struck the Turkish Bayraktar drone plant in Kyiv for the fourth time in the past six months.
“Above all, this attack is yet another reminder of the brutality the Ukrainian people have to bravely face every day… Iron, concrete, and buildings can be rebuilt. What truly matters is our determination and faith in this project. No missile can destroy our friendship,” Bayraktar stated.
According to him, the Russian strike has not changed the company’s plans. After assessing the damage, construction is continuing according to schedule.
