The “Agrotrade” Company Group renegotiated long-term agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the next 5 years, – said the press service of the company.
According to the report, it will be key to the success of the Group companies, to improve the investment climate in the region, economic development and innovation.
In cooperation with the EBRD, the company has already implemented a number of projects on modernization and construction of modern production facilities, launching into operation a plant for the production of seed up to 20 thous. tons per year and an elevator that allows to store up to 40 ths. tons of grain.
Agrotrade is a company which activities are focused on: production, processing, storage and trade in agricultural products. The structure of the company includes 16 agricultural enterprises.
Agrotrade Group (founded in 1998) is in the top 10 of Ukrainian grain traders and controls about 3% of the export grain market. The parent company of the group is Agrotrade Group SA (Luxembourg), the beneficial owner is a resident of Ukraine – Vsevolod Kozhemyako. The Group is a vertically integrated holding company of the completed agro-industrial cycle – production, processing, storage and sale of agricultural products. The number of staff is 2.1 thousand people.
Under the agreement, the Agrotrade company will receive additional funds for the crop collection, processing and storage, and it will improve the efficiency of the enterprise.
