Amazon has banned the import of seeds to the United States because the Americans received thousands of parcels from unknown shippers from China.
In this regard, Amazon informed foreign partners of its decision and obliged sellers to remove publications with appropriate proposals.
Now sell the seeds only can those who is in the United States, and accounts that violate the ban may be removed.
Earlier, several state authorities suspected that it could be harmful to plants. The New York Department of Agriculture has recommended not to touch the seeds, and keep them away from children and pets.
Then the US Department of Agriculture reported, that people were sent seeds of mint, rosemary, lavender, and among the seeds were not found life-threatening plants.
The Chinese authorities have stated their non-involvement in the possible sending of parcels with seeds.
