Aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered 114 planes to 46 customers worldwide in the first quarter of 2026. This represents a 16% decline compared to the first quarter of 2025, when 136 aircraft were delivered, and marks the lowest level for January–March since 2009, according to the company.
In the first quarter, Airbus delivered 100 narrow-body aircraft, three wide-body A330s, and 11 A350 jets.
Net orders for the quarter totaled 398 aircraft. In March alone, the company delivered 60 planes to 38 customers.
Airbus has set a delivery target of 870 aircraft for the year, although this goal was established before the escalation of the Middle East conflict.
The aviation industry is currently facing a challenging period, as fuel prices rise and some airlines scale back operations due to military activity in the region.
