Mondelis Ukraine company (Kraft Foods Inc.) has invested $ 9 million in the purchase of new technical equipment for Trostiyanetska chocolate factory and started export of its products in 12 EU countries. The company also plans to increase the quantitative measure of the supply on the European market and in the countries of the Arabian Gulf, said the source delo.ua.
Market flagship of food industry Mondelis Ukraine began producing biscuits Oreo thins in order to export to Europe. In addition to the installation of new equipment at Trostiyanetska candy factory, it was also expanded production. Commercial Director Andriy Samusenko noted that in addition to this, this year, management plans to add the supply of products even in the 6 countries of the Persian Gulf. In addition to baked goods, Mondelis Ukraine started export of cocoa liquor in Greece.
According to Samusenko, previously exports were directed to the CIS markets, but because of the imposition of the embargo between Ukraine and Russia, as well as instability in the economic sphere, the company began looking for new ways to export.
