The “Food Solutions” company reconstructs an abandoned cattle-breeding complex, which will include almost 5 thousand heads of young cattle in Sokolovka (Zhashkivskyi district, Cherkasy region),- says the “Uriadovy Courier”.
According to the report, it has already made a significant range of works on the reconstruction of a cattle-breeding premises, and service buildings. In each of the four of restored barns will be kept about 400 head of young cattle. Another 5 will be opened in a few months.
It is also noted that the repair of the feed processing room has been completed. The process of procurement of modern machinery and other equipment for the maintenance of livestock continues. Last autumn, for fattening complex was stock up 6 thous. tons of silage.
“The complex can be unique for the area, because in one production site it is planned to hold almost 5 thous. heads of young cattle. The personell here works for the creation of all the conditions for high productivity of animals, providing proper care and maintenance, including balanced feeding. Highly qualified management and staff will work on the farm”, – said in a statement.
Cherkasy region is the second in Ukraine in terms of milk production after the Poltava region. In the 1st quarter of 2016 the volume of production amounted to 72.1 thous. tons, which is 2.7% more than in the same period of the previous year.
