“Danone Ukraine” Company has launched a new production facility for the manufacture of milk food for babies of TM “Tema” at the state milk plant in Kremenchug.
This was said to AgroPortal.ua by the press-service of the company.
Investments amounted to 200 million UAH and the production capacity estimates at 700 tons per month, or more than 5 million packs of ready to feed baby milk.
As explained in the company, raw materials and packaging were tested in European laboratories Eurofins, and the factory installed Tetra Pak (Sweden) and Arcil (France) equipment, which provides a closed type production.
For products manufacturing is used the milk of extra class, which is produced in special commodity areas. Fruit mixture supplied by Ukrainian-Austrian enterprise “Agrana Fruit Ukraine”.
“This investment of 200 million UAH allows us to produce Ukrainian products in Kremenchug, which meets the highest international standards of “Danone”. We use the best Ukrainian raw materials, modern equipment and expertise of an international team of technologists and nutritionists for the production of high-quality baby milk”, – said the General Director of “Danone Ukraine”, Marek Voytina.
“Danone Ukraine” is the Ukrainian representative office of the French Danone company, one of the largest and most successful companies in the world in production of dairy and other food products.
At this time, “Danone” has 2 plants in Ukraine – “Danone Dnipro” (Kherson) and Kremenchug milk factory. The third one, “Galakton” (Kyiv), the company was forced to close because of the lack of raw materials and to transfer the production capacities to Kherson and Kremenchug.
