ATB-Market LLC (Dnepropetrovsk), completed 2015 with a turnover of 46.7 billion UAH (including VAT) by increasing the rate for 16.5% comparing the level of 2014. This was stated by the chairman of the board of the directors, CEO of the “ATB” Boris Markov in an interview to “Business” from 29 February 2016.
According to him, the increase of network turnover in 2015 was connected with two main factors – the extensive growth of the network and inflation.
According to the general director, in 2015 it was noted a redistribution of shares of the price segments in the structure of the network turnover. Thus, the share of premium products in the total amount of selling goods amounted to less than 1%, and the turnover of the top price segment products declined by 20% compared with 2014.
At the same time B.Markov noted an increase of the net sales of goods in the middle price segment in 2015 for 10% from the level of 2014, as well as an insignificant reduction in sales of goods of the lower price segment.
According to the director of the “ATB” Corporation, in 2015, a chain of the “ATB” stores replenished with 54 new shopping facilities, many of which were opened in Kyiv and in Kyiv region.
The total number of employees of “ATB-Market” LLC has increased by more than 3 thousand people and to the end of 2015 reached 35.6 thousand people. He also said that in 2016 the company plans to actively expand the network and explore new areas for it, in the result the number of personnel of the “ATB-Market” LLC can exceed 41 thousand people to the end of 2016.
“We intend to open more than 100 new stores, including new network regions. In a priority is the development in the Western Ukraine, as well as strong growth in the southern regions”, – said B.Markov. At the same time, he added that in the mid-term the corporation has no plans to develop a retail network of the “ATB” outside Ukraine.
