The Supreme Commercial Court of Ukraine overturned the decision on the recovery of a fine in the amount of 72.7 million UAH to PJSC Arcelor Mittal Kryvyi Rih.
This information was reported by the representatives of the Ukrainian industrial complex on December 20th. According to a statement, prosecutors claim was rejected, and the previous decision of the Dnepropetrovsk Commercial Court of Appeal canceled due to a lack of sufficient evidence.
Recall that the essence of the litigation was in the charge of metallurgical complex Arcelor Mittal in excess of pollutant emission standards in the atmosphere. The decision was made by Dnipropetrovsk Commercial Court of Appeal at the beginning of November this year.
It is worth noting that in the current period the above mentioned court case is not the only in the biography of the Kryvyi Rih enterprise. According to the Unified Register of court decisions in Ukraine, on the eve of these actions another companies such as PJSC Ukrainian Railways (158 900 UAH) and Krivorizhteplomerezha (406 700 UAH) filed lawsuits in the courts against Arcelor Mittal.
