President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that by the end of January, the state expects financial aid of $ 100 million from the Swiss Confederation, which approved the allocation of this amount of money. Money must be received at the National Bank account. This information was published by Ukrainian portal InVenture.
Swiss President Doris Leuthard noted the visible progress of reforms in Ukraine, as well as effective results in anti-corruption activities in various fields. In turn, the Ukrainian head of state stressed that the two countries have come to mark of 25 – year diplomatic relations (6 February of this year) not empty-handed.
Also Poroshenko with D. Leuthard came to an agreement on further joint investigation of crimes by the previous Ukrainian government. First of all it concerns the frozen assets held in Swiss banks.
Earlier, in 2015, Switzerland has announced about the allocation for Ukraine $ 200 million of international financial assistance.
