An investment of means by the British company Jaguar Land Rover into this project will be one of the most expensive foreign investment inflows in Central Europe. To the construction of the plant Jaguar will spend $ 1.5 billion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new plant of the company will be located in the western part of Slovakia (Nitra). We expect that there will produce up to 300,000 cars a year. Construction will begin in 2016, and the first car will be produced in 2018. Expansion of the company involves the creation of new jobs (there will be about 2 800), an increase in production as well as increasing its presence abroad. The company already has a plant in China, and most recently finished construction of the facility in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Representatives of Jaguar said that the new plant will play a big role in the production of new &#171;lightweight aluminum models&#187; cars. Also, there will be improved and produced a new model SUV Land Rover Defender.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the question why did they choose Slovakia, the executive director of Jaguar Land Rover &#8212; Ralph Shpet said that Slovakia is a perspective country with an excellent infrastructure and the company sees great potential to develop production here. The authorities in Slovakia are confident that the construction of the plant in their country will help to expand industrial strategy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Jaguar Land Rover is a British multinational automotive company, its main office is located in Wheatley (UK), its owner is India&#8217;s Tata Motors Ltd.
