According to one of the leading US companies – financial information provider Bloomberg L.P., McDonald’s Corporation already has a large share of potential buyers (80%) of Chinese fast food restaurants.<\/p>\n

The future owner of the assets turned out a syndicate Citic and Carlyle Group companies, which will buy a controlling stake shares of McDonald’s business in China for $ 1.6 billion.<\/p>\n

According to the above transaction, the Chinese consortium will acquire a twenty-year franchise. It is worth noting that the total value of China’s fast-food network is $ 2.08 billion.<\/p>\n

In Hong Kong, China and South Korea, there are about 2800 chain restaurants McDonald’s. Most restaurants in the South – East Asia previously were directly owned by a US corporation.<\/p>\n

In the past 2016 McDonald’s started working on the search for strategic partners to open another 1,500 restaurants in China, Hong Kong and South Korea.<\/p>\n
