Workers of Gorodetsk local prosecutor’s office (Ukraine, Lviv region) have exacted 20 million UAH from the Ukrainian State Enterprise Ukrspyrt. This was reported to Ukrainian media by representatives of\u00a0 the press service of control authority.<\/p>\n
According to provided information, the manufacturer of alcoholic beverages was fined in connection with the unauthorized extraction of water for industrial purposes in the Lviv region. The Prosecutor’s Office has acted in the interests of Velykoliubinskyi village Council – Velykyi Luben settlement on the territory of which there is one of the branches of the industrial complex Ukrspyrt. Thus, in accordance with the decision of the court, before the end of last year, the entire amount of the fine has been transferred to the account of the special fund of the local budget of the above local government. According to the text of the court decision,\u00a0 the damage caused to the ecosystem of the region’s illegal actions of the company, estimated in monetary terms at 20 million UAH.<\/p>\n
Ukrspyrt is a state-owned company, the largest producer of alcoholic products and alcoholic beverages in the territory of Ukraine. The company was founded in 2010. At the moment the assets are state-owned industrial complex. Nevertheless, at the end of last year, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities informed of the intention to transfer a certain portion of the company’s shares in the private property, reserving the right to control the production and exports of products Ukrspyrt.<\/p>\n
