Throughout 2026, Russian troops carried out strikes on dozens of fuel infrastructure facilities in Ukraine\u2014as a result of the constant attacks, 37 gas stations belonging to the Naftogaz group were destroyed.<\/p>\n
According to the company, some of the damaged gas stations have already been repaired and returned to operation. At the same time, some facilities sustained such severe damage that they remain closed for now.<\/p>\n
Over the past seven months, 32 stations in the Ukrnafta network and another five facilities belonging to Ukrgazvydobuvannya have come under attack. The company also noted that the enemy has repeatedly attacked gas stations a second time\u2014even after repairs were completed and operations resumed.<\/p>\n
Naftogaz emphasizes that gas stations are part of the civilian infrastructure on which the daily lives of thousands of people depend.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn frontline regions, the operation of emergency services, public transportation, medical personnel, and rescue workers depends on the availability of fuel,\u201d said Serhiy Fedorenko, acting chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
According to him, despite the attacks, the company continues to repair damaged facilities, restore them to operation, and supply fuel to Ukrainians, particularly residents of areas near the front lines.<\/p>\n
In total, over the course of more than 12 years of war, the state-owned Ukrnafta network has lost 123 gas stations due to Russian strikes.
