The future energy mix will combine nuclear and hydropower with solar and wind generation, while modern flexible gas-fired generation and energy storage systems will play a crucial role in ensuring grid stability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"818\">&#8220;According to our estimates, approximately \u20ac7 billion in investment will be needed over the coming years to develop new power generation capacity,&#8221; Zaichenko said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1058\">Ukrenergo forecasts that by 2030, Ukraine&#8217;s installed energy storage capacity will increase to 1.5 GW, flexible gas-fired generation capacity to 2.2 GW, solar power capacity to 10 GW, and wind power capacity to 3.6 GW.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1060\" data-end=\"1163\">Zaichenko emphasized that the government will not be able to finance projects of this scale on its own.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1289\">&#8220;That is why we are placing a strong emphasis on partnerships with the private sector and international investors,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1718\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">He also announced that the next tender for the construction of new power generation facilities will include four lots.
