Cursor develops artificial intelligence models designed to assist with code generation and software development. The transaction will be paid for in shares and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, according to a joint press release.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"679\">The companies noted that in April, SpaceX entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Cursor, under which Musk&#8217;s company obtained an option to acquire its partner for $60 billion before the end of the current year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"909\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">SpaceX itself went public last week. The company completed the largest IPO in history, raising $85.7 billion, including the overallotment option.
