Following the IPO (Initial Public Offering \u2014 the first sale of shares by a private company to the public, allowing it to enter public capital markets and raise substantial funding), his fortune surpassed $1.1 trillion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"772\">Reuters reported that 555.56 million SpaceX shares were offered for sale, with each share priced at $135.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"774\" data-end=\"1008\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The majority of Musk\u2019s wealth comes from his stake in SpaceX, which is estimated to be worth approximately $866 billion.
