Serbia has agreed to extend its natural gas supply agreement with Gazprom for an additional three months, until the end of September. The announcement was made by Serbia\u2019s Minister of Energy, Dubravka \u0110edovi\u0107-Handanovi\u0107, following a meeting with Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in St. Petersburg, Reuters reports.<\/p>\n
According to the minister, the extension is important for maintaining the stability of the country\u2019s gas supply, economy, and consumers, as it guarantees predictable volumes and relatively low import costs.<\/p>\n
In March, Serbia had already negotiated a three-month extension of its gas contract with Russia.<\/p>\n
