{"id":151635,"date":"2026-05-22T12:00:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T09:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=151635"},"modified":"2026-05-21T23:21:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T20:21:18","slug":"suzuki-planuye-obignaty-honda-za-prodazhamy-do-kinczya-roku","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/suzuki-planuye-obignaty-honda-za-prodazhamy-do-kinczya-roku\/","title":{"rendered":"Suzuki Plans to Overtake Honda in Sales by the End of the Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"106\" data-end=\"442\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Suzuki<\/span><\/span> expects that by the end of fiscal year 2026 it will, for the first time in its history, surpass <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Honda<\/span><\/span> in global vehicle sales and become Japan\u2019s second-largest automaker after <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Toyota<\/span><\/span>, according to <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Motor1<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"856\">During the previous fiscal year, which ended on March 31, 2026, Suzuki sold 3.32 million vehicles worldwide, an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year. Around 1.86 million vehicles \u2014 more than half of total sales \u2014 came from the Indian market. It was there that the Japanese automaker significantly strengthened its position thanks to affordable compact models and strong demand for budget-friendly cars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"1064\">For the current fiscal year, the company forecasts even stronger growth of 7.1%, reaching 3.55 million vehicles sold. By comparison, Honda expects an almost unchanged result of around 3.39 million vehicles.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1359\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">If these forecasts prove accurate, Suzuki will surpass Honda in the global sales rankings for the first time.
