At least ten vessels reportedly used \u201cspoofing,\u201d switching off or falsifying geolocation data.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"609\" data-end=\"791\">No reports of inspections or detentions by London have emerged, although other countries \u2014 including France, Sweden, and Belgium \u2014 have already been actively enforcing such measures.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"949\">Experts note that without concrete action, Starmer\u2019s statements appear to be \u201cempty threats.\u201d The UK Ministry of Defence has not commented on the situation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"1105\">Analysts attribute the inaction to several factors. In particular, the Royal Navy is relatively small and overstretched with commitments in other regions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1340\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Additionally, unlike EU countries, the UK lacks a dedicated law enforcement coast guard service.
