This was announced in a press release by the startup.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"375\">The initial orbital demonstration of the system is scheduled for 2028, with full commercial deployment planned for 2030.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"377\" data-end=\"724\">According to the statement, Overview\u2019s satellites will collect solar energy in space and transmit it to ground-based solar stations in the form of near-infrared radiation, where it will be converted into electricity at any time of day. This radiation is invisible, less intense than sunlight, and considered safe for humans, animals, and aircraft.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"910\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Under the agreement, Meta will gain early access to capacity of up to 1 GW.
