According to Reuters, citing sources, the new course is expected to be presented by CEO Antonio Filosa in May.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"635\">These brands are set to receive significantly increased funding, as they generate the largest share of sales and profits. Meanwhile, other brands in the company\u2019s portfolio \u2014 including Citro\u00ebn, Opel, and Alfa Romeo \u2014 will remain but with a revised role, focusing primarily on specific regional markets or niche segments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"944\">This approach marks a departure from the previous policy of evenly distributing investments across all 14 brands in the group. Instead, the new strategy emphasizes the use of shared platforms and technologies developed for core brands, with subsequent adaptation of design and features for specific markets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"946\" data-end=\"1260\">The reorganization comes amid a challenging period for Stellantis. The company is seeking to regain market share in the U.S. and Europe while facing increasing competition from Chinese automakers. An additional setback was a \u20ac22.2 billion write-down in February related to a revision of its electric vehicle plans.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1495\">Despite calls from some investors to reduce the number of brands, management currently does not plan to shut any down. According to sources, Antonio Filosa believes that even less profitable brands could prove valuable in the future.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1755\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">At the same time, analysts do not rule out that the company may eventually phase out certain brands if their performance fails to meet expectations.
