Its facilities in Neustadt and Vohburg in Bavaria were forced to rely on local reserves for three days to compensate for the interruption.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"857\">According to media sources, the pipeline outage was caused by an attack on the power supply system of a pumping station near Terzo di Tolmezzo in the Italian Alps.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"1019\">Two independent sources confirmed that the pipeline disruption was the result of sabotage. German authorities were informed of the incident by the Italian side.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1185\">The operator of the TAL pipeline has not commented on the cause of the disruption.
