In Kyiv, the Sky Towers complex was sold at auction for UAH 560.47 million. Construction of the project had been halted back in 2015 due to financial problems. This was reported by Ekonomichna Pravda, citing the OpenMarket electronic auction platform.<\/p>\n
The unfinished Sky Towers had failed to sell for five years. It has now been purchased by Tech Invest Postach Plus LLC.<\/p>\n
According to media reports, Roman Chumak, through the company Finance Accounting Consult, owned the financial company Universal Company, which was later renamed Skyfall Finance and is now owned by sisters Anna and Karina Zlochevskaya, daughters of former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mykola Zlochevskyi.<\/p>\n
Tech Invest Postach Plus LLC was one of three bidders registered for the auction but the only one to pay the required deposit.<\/p>\n
According to the listing, the asset is an unfinished public center located on a 0.74-hectare land plot in Kyiv\u2019s Shevchenkivskyi district.<\/p>\n
The total construction area is 51,355.9 square meters, with completion at 51%.<\/p>\n
Construction stopped in 2015. The building consists of 27 constructed floors (out of a planned 47), with 8 underground levels.<\/p>\n
Electricity supply is available but disconnected, while gas, heating, water supply, sewage, and heating systems were planned in the project.<\/p>\n
As of 2021, the largest shareholders of the developer included U.S. citizen Oleksandr Levin, entities linked to Andriy Verevskyi\u2019s Kernel agroholding, and brothers Vyacheslav and Oleksandr Konstantinovskyi.<\/p>\n
The developer had borrowed UAH 3 billion from Ukreximbank for the project, but construction was halted in 2015 due to financing issues.
