Content creators on the paid adult content platform OnlyFans have won and managed to partially or fully overturn fines imposed by the State Tax Service in at least 27 court rulings, according to Opendatabot.<\/p>\n
In total, OnlyFans models attempted to challenge the tax authorities\u2019 actions in 94 cases, winning nearly one-third of them. In 92% of the cases, the tax authority\u2019s losses were due to procedural errors.<\/p>\n
It is noted that every third successful case was recorded in the Odesa region \u2014 8 court decisions. The Dnipropetrovsk region follows with 5 cases.<\/p>\n
The largest fine overturned was recorded in Kyiv \u2014 more than UAH 3 million in taxes, allegedly based on nearly $400,000 in income. The claimant provided her own bank statements, which did not confirm these amounts, and the court ruled in her favor.<\/p>\n
In 2026 alone, courts have already issued 13 rulings in favor of content creators, with February setting a record of 5 decisions.<\/p>\n
Most often, the tax authorities sent documents to outdated addresses. The letters were returned, yet audits were still conducted. As a result, courts recognized such audits as unlawful, along with all associated tax assessments.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the tax authorities frequently relied on letters from UK tax authorities regarding payments from Fenix International Ltd, which operates OnlyFans. However, such letters serve only as a basis for initiating an audit, not as proof of income.
