This is putting pressure on consumers and businesses worldwide and forcing governments to take measures to preserve supplies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"1136\">The increase in OPEC+ quotas by 206,000 barrels per day amounts to less than 2% of the supply disrupted by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, according to OPEC+ sources, it signals readiness to boost production once shipping resumes.
