{"id":151350,"date":"2026-03-25T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=151350"},"modified":"2026-03-24T13:52:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T11:52:27","slug":"ukrayina-vidstaye-vid-torishnih-tempiv-sivby-na-28","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/ukrayina-vidstaye-vid-torishnih-tempiv-sivby-na-28\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine lags 28% behind last year\u2019s sowing pace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"336\">As of March 23, Ukrainian farmers had sown 180,113 hectares of spring grains and legumes across 16 regions, accounting for 3% of the forecast for this year, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"338\" data-end=\"507\">The pace of work accelerated significantly over the past week, with 126,760 hectares sown\u2014almost three times higher than the previous reporting period (53,360 hectares).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"509\" data-end=\"633\">At the same time, current figures are 28% lower than last year\u2019s pace, when 250,400 hectares had been sown by the same date.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"912\">So far, 86,100 hectares have been planted with barley (11.4% of the plan), 51,200 hectares with peas (19%), 20,500 hectares with wheat (11%), and 20,800 hectares with oats (15%).
