This was reported by Member of Parliament <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Yaroslav Zhelezniak<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"461\">One of the first \u201cstructural benchmarks\u201d under the IMF program, set for the end of March, calls for the adoption of a package of tax changes for 2026\u20132027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"545\">According to Zhelezniak, Ukraine has already fulfilled the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"891\">\n<li data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"621\">\n<p data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"621\">Adoption of the 2026 state budget in line with IMF program parameters;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"728\">\n<p data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"728\">Issuance of a resolution ensuring equal conditions for VAT payers participating in public procurement;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"891\">\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"891\">Submission to parliament of a draft law amending the Labor Code to update the definition of \u201cemployment relations\u201d in accordance with international standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"969\">At the same time, the following structural benchmarks are still in progress:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1382\">\n<li data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1182\">\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1182\">Any non-systemic banks that come under state ownership will not be recapitalized using fiscal resources and will be transferred to the Deposit Guarantee Fund for market exit in case of prudential violations;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1382\">\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1382\">By the end of February 2026, the program \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0443\u0441\u043c\u0430\u0442\u0440\u0438es implementation of the recommendations outlined in MEFP \u00b651 to strengthen the nomination process for supervisory boards of state-owned banks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1496\">In addition, by the end of March 2026, the program envisages adoption of a tax package for 2026\u20132027, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1899\">\n<li data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1554\">\n<p data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1554\">Taxation of income earned through digital platforms;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1555\" data-end=\"1642\">\n<p data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1642\">Elimination of the tax exemption on low-value imported postal shipments under \u20ac150;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1704\">\n<p data-start=\"1645\" data-end=\"1704\">Permanent introduction of the increased 5% military levy;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1899\">\n<p data-start=\"1707\" data-end=\"1899\">Cancellation, effective January 1, 2027, of VAT exemption for sole proprietors exceeding the general VAT registration threshold, which will be moderately raised but not exceed UAH 4 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"2015\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The new program also provides for the appointment of a new permanent head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":151215,"menu_order":0,"template":"","newscat":[9],"newstag":[],"issues":[],"class_list":["post-151214","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/151214","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/151215"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=151214"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"newscat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newscat?post=151214"},{"taxonomy":"newstag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newstag?post=151214"},{"taxonomy":"issues","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/issues?post=151214"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
