{"id":151160,"date":"2026-02-18T18:00:46","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T16:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=151160"},"modified":"2026-02-17T20:20:15","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T18:20:15","slug":"ukrayina-otrymala-690-mln-vid-yaponiyi-ta-kanady","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/ukrayina-otrymala-690-mln-vid-yaponiyi-ta-kanady\/","title":{"rendered":"Ukraine Receives $690 Million from Japan and Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"96\" data-end=\"328\">Ukraine has secured $690 million in grant funding from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Japan<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Canada<\/span><\/span> under the G7\u2019s ERA mechanism, the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Ministry of Finance of Ukraine<\/span><\/span> reported.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"330\" data-end=\"629\">\u201cThe funds have been transferred to the general fund of Ukraine\u2019s state budget and will be directed toward financing priority government expenditures, including pension payments and social support programs for the population, such as housing and utility subsidies,\u201d the ministry said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"631\" data-end=\"660\">The grant financing includes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"870\">\n<li data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"726\">\n<p data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"726\">$544 million \u2014 contribution from the Government of Japan<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"792\">\n<p data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"792\">$146 million \u2014 contribution from the Government of Canada<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"870\">\n<p data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"870\">$0.8 million \u2014 funds from the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">PEACE in Ukraine Trust Fund<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"1129\">The ministry noted that this is the first tranche from Japan and the final tranche from Canada provided under the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Group of Seven<\/span><\/span> Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine mechanism, with a total volume of $50 billion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":151161,"menu_order":0,"template":"","newscat":[9],"newstag":[],"issues":[],"class_list":["post-151160","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/151160","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/151161"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=151160"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"newscat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newscat?post=151160"},{"taxonomy":"newstag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newstag?post=151160"},{"taxonomy":"issues","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/issues?post=151160"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
