This was reported by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Reuters<\/span><\/span>, citing its sources.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"373\" data-end=\"515\">The license is expected to accelerate Venezuela\u2019s oil exports and reduce crude costs for the operator of the world\u2019s largest refining complex.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"673\">The general license permits the purchase, export, and sale of Venezuelan-origin oil that has already been extracted, including the processing of such crude.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"675\" data-end=\"883\">According to one source, direct purchases of Venezuelan oil will help Reliance replace Russian crude in a cost-effective way, as heavy oil from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Caracas<\/span><\/span> is sold at a discount.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"1314\">As the publication notes, Indian refineries \u2014 including Reliance \u2014 are avoiding purchases of Russian oil for April delivery and are expected to stay away from such trades for longer, according to sources in the refining and trading sectors.
